It's not always pretty...

It's not always pretty
A little more caulk...

But it sure is fun!!!

I have to confess something: I tried to use windows as skylights. I had gotten the windows for very cheap at a used building supply store - and I was just SURE I could make them work as skylights. Yah... well... everyone said I was nuts. They were right. There is just is no way to seal windows properly to sit at a 45 degree angle and not have them leak. Boy did they leak!

It's been holding me up - making it impossible to continue on the insides. I finally bit the bullet and ripped those puppies out and replaced them. It was a lot of work - and my entire body hurts right now to no end. But with the help of friends - we did it - and now I can move on.

The weather has been AMAZING here and there have been more and more people stopping by where the tiny house lives now. After such a long, hard day working on the windows and other various bits, it was so nice to have friends and kids running in and out of the tiny house and stopping to sit on the porch and chat. Benni and Jole (the folks who own the place I'm parked at) brought out fried chicken and mashed potatoes and we had a little party. A little, tiny, porch party ;)
