Lullaby Moon: last performance 2009

Published in

I took a break from cleaning, sorting and purging the other day. I had gotten a short email mentioning that the Lullaby Moon troupe would be doing their last "gig" for the season at Golden Garden's park. At the last minute I scrambled to find something white to wear (my captain's hat - how fitting!) and scooched on down to the park.

The sun was just setting and hundreds of people were flowing into the park, all wearing white of somekind and many with bells jingling. Then the performers began to dance through the crowds and magically lead us to the marina and docks. There they waved good bye as they boarded a beautifl ship and sailed away - the live orchastra with them - music drifing out over the sunset. Surreal and wonderful - and just what I needed ;)

Thank you Lullaby moon!

Looks like the dogs are coming too

So as I slowly move myself and my belongings into the Tiny House for good - counting down the days until Nov. 1st, 2009, I learned that I will be taking care of my daughter's pups too. Hmmm... the tiny house isn't exactly made for me AND 2 dogs.

Well, at least they are short - and very well behaved (for dogs) and I do love them very much. The corgi's name is Rupert (he's about 2 yrs old) and the Shepard mix is Sampson (he's closer to 4 years old). This should only add to the adventure - right? So far they've claimed the couch - but we did learn how to comfortably nap together there ;)

A Nicely Warmed Tiny House

The house warming party was lovely. Great people, great food and much fun. I think we enjoyed roasting mini marshmallows over the burn barrel about the best - although the tiny cups and tiny hats were a hit too.

I'm afraid I didn't take many photos myself during the party - since I was busy having fun. If you were there and took some photos, let me know if you'd like to share those.

Thanks everyone who came!
