Day 4: Not much to write today

Published in

A very lo-key day here in the tiny house. Went to the office to work - pups in tow. Snuck into my co-neighbors house and did a little laundry. Not much to write home about.

Day 3: Living without running water

The one thing I'm missing the most right now is running water. I will have that soon - but for now, I'm set up with a water jug. My shower is nothing but storage for all the things I haven't found homes for yet. I have a gym membership so I just take my showers there, but washing dishes is really a pain. Since I have to physically haul every ounce of water, I'm very aware of how much I use.

Day 2: cooking with gas

I'm starting to get a routine down, a rhythm. I'm learning how to keep the tiny house at a good tempature - not letting it get too cold.

I'm loving my mornings best of all. This morning I was awoken early by the moonlight in my eyes through the loft skylight.

The pups are not morning people, so they lounge around on the couch while I putter around and make coffee, check emails, etc. Then I kick them out, feed them breakfast on the front porch while I get cleaned up and dressed for work.

Speaking of work - I'm loving how intertined my life has become with the subject matter I deal with there. I work for RVbookstore.com and all the offshoot websites associated.

I've been having trouble getting my oven to light for me - and this very morning I find myself helping to build a new blog called "The RV Doctor". Lo and behold, there's a post about the very issue I'm dealing with: http://rvdoctor.blogspot.com/2009/10/fully-engulfed.html. I think this might be the answer - yeah!
